The HIOKI LR8102 is a high-performance modular data logger developed for large-scale, high-speed data acquisition in advanced system integration environments. Engineered to meet the demands of electric vehicle testing, battery system development, and HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) simulations, the LR8102 delivers exceptional scalability, precision, and real-time performance.
This next-generation data logger supports synchronization of up to 10 units via optical link, enabling logging of up to 3000 voltage/temperature channels or 120 power channels in a single system. It’s the perfect solution for large test benches, lab environments, and complex distributed systems.
With a 5 ms update interval, real-time UDP data streaming, and CAN data output, the LR8102 enables fast and responsive feedback for closed-loop systems like HIL simulators or charge/discharge testers. Combined with high-voltage measurement capabilities (up to 2000 VDC / 1000 VAC) and compatibility with HIOKI’s high-precision current sensors (rated 2 A to 2000 A), it ensures accurate logging in even the most demanding applications.
Flexible configuration is at the heart of the LR8102. Use up to 10 voltage/temperature modules (M7100 or M7102) per unit, or add M7103 power modules for current and power monitoring. The modular architecture, combined with the ability to operate from a 19” rack and connect via LAN or ME15W interfaces, makes this logger ideal for both lab and field setups.
