The HIOKI BT3554-50 Portable Battery Tester is a high-performance solution for testing lead-acid batteries, designed for fast and accurate measurements in the field. It features two voltage ranges (6V and 60V) and four resistance ranges (3 mΩ to 3 Ω), making it suitable for a wide range of batteries, including VRLA batteries of various sizes and capacities.
This battery tester allows for measuring internal battery resistance at 1 kHz (AC-IR) without disconnecting the battery from the system, streamlining the testing process and saving valuable time. It boasts a measurement speed of less than 2 seconds, ideal for tight or hard-to-reach areas. Additionally, noise reduction technology ensures reliable readings even in environments with electrical noise.
The integrated comparator function (PASS, WARNING, FAIL) provides immediate feedback on the battery’s condition based on customizable user-defined thresholds. Data management is simplified with the ability to store up to 6000 measurement records internally.
For wireless communication, the optional Z3210 Bluetooth adapter enables the transfer of measurement data to smartphones or tablets via the free GENNECT Cross app, which allows for real-time data analysis, report generation, and seamless transfer of pass/fail profiles.
The USB interface ensures easy PC connectivity for data management and integration, with GENNECT One Windows software providing full control over the device and allowing direct export of measurement values to an Excel sheet.
This portable battery tester is optimized for field use, equipped with auto-hold and auto-memory functions for automatic detection and storage of new measurements.
