The Sorensen™ Mi-BEAM (Modular Intelligent-Bidirectional Energy AMplified) Series is AMETEK Programmable Power’s latest high-power testing innovation, delivering both DC source and sink functionalities with power capacities from 12kW to 37kW. This flexible series can be scaled up to an impressive 1.2MW when combined in parallel systems. Offering voltage ranges of 600V, 1,500V, and 2,000VDC in a compact 4U chassis, it supports up to 150A output within a single unit.
User-Friendly Front Panel and Versatile Control Interfaces
The Mi-BEAM Series features a responsive touchscreen interface on the front panel, simplifying setup, control, and monitoring for parameters, limits, measurements, and settings. Users also benefit from multiple standard communication interfaces, including LAN, USB, and RS-232, with optional IEEE-488 and EtherCAT for enhanced flexibility.
