The HIOKI CT6831 is an ultra-compact, high-accuracy AC/DC current probe designed for measuring currents from 1 mA to 20 A with a precision of ±0.3%. This probe features a bandwidth of DC to 100 kHz and can measure in tight spaces, thanks to its ultra-small size and slide open/lock mechanism. It operates in a wide temperature range of -40°C to 85°C, making it versatile for use in extreme environments, from cold conditions like Alaska to hot climates like the Sahara.
The CT6831 is especially valuable for development and analysis of electric vehicles (EVs), electrical trucks, buses, construction vehicles, and agricultural equipment. It allows engineers to accurately monitor low-power circuits, such as wipers, entertainment systems, seat heating, and power steering, helping to optimize energy consumption and extend the vehicle’s driving range.
Designed to integrate with HIOKI Power Analyzers, Memory Recorders, or Data Loggers, the CT6831 provides deep insights into energy consumption during tests. For even more flexibility, when combined with HIOKI’s CT9555, CT9556, or CT9557 Power Supply Units, the CT6831 can connect to third-party equipment, such as DAQ systems or oscilloscopes.
