The HIOKI CT6830 is an ultra-compact, high-accuracy AC/DC current probe, ideal for measuring currents from 100 µA to 2 A with an accuracy of ±0.3%. Featuring a bandwidth of DC to 100 kHz, this probe can handle both low and high-frequency measurements in tight spaces, thanks to its small size and slide open/lock mechanism. The CT6830 is built to operate in extreme temperature conditions, ranging from -40°C to 85°C, making it suitable for use in various environments, from the coldest regions like Alaska to the hottest like the Sahara.
This current probe is particularly useful in the development and optimization of electric vehicles (EVs), electrical trucks, buses, construction vehicles, and agricultural equipment. It helps engineers accurately monitor low power circuits, such as ECUs and interior lighting, to improve fuel efficiency and extend the vehicle’s driving range. It can also be used in conjunction with HIOKI Power Analyzers, Memory Recorders, or Data Loggers to provide detailed insights into energy consumption.
